Who hasn't had a bad experience with group projects? This interdisciplinary research project proposal is my attempt at addressing the issue of "freeloaders".

SONG CONTEST SUBMISSION

Poetry has always been a hobby of mine. So when my ethics professor offered extra credit to submit song lyrics you can imagine my excitement. I received 3rd place and $250 for the Eight Key Questions Song Contest at JMU. The song had to creatively address the University's eight ethical questions.

OPINION PIECE/CULTURAL CRITICISM

This essay argues for a revamping of the national anthem; combining music, politics and the cynical perspective of a college freshman.

CONFERENCE RECAP

I attended a PRSSA National Conference in Austin, Texas, and wrote a brief synopsis about Rachel Henderson's VR presentation.

HARRISONBURG LITTLE LEAGUE

The HLLA has been my client for the past two years. I have served as their programming director before entering my current role of client relations director for Bluestone Communications.

BRIDEWATER RETIREMENT COMMUNITY

BRC was my client for Bluestone Communications during the fall semester. I serve as the media and issue director, and lead their media relations efforts.

WRTC BLOG PROJECT

For WRTC 200, I created a blog project that landed me my first internship. The blog "Hidden Faces of JMU" captured the stories of employees from across JMU's campus.
